Cricket Hill Equestrian
Murray approached our team with the vision of expanding their existing facilities by adding two new outdoor arenas—one measuring 20m x 60m and the other 20m x 30m.
The construction of both arenas began with meticulous site preparation, including levelling and the creation of shallow banking around each perimeter. Strategic drainage systems were installed, directing water to either a soakaway or ditch to ensure effective runoff management. To enhance both safety and aesthetics, a robust post-and-rail fence was then constructed around each arena.
The foundations were built with precision, using layers of geotextile membrane, clean angular stone, and non-woven geotextile. Finally, the riding surfaces were installed:
Sportrack Eco-Ride Pre-Mixed Waxed Surface for the 20m x 30m arena and Sportrack Eco-Ride Riding Surface for the 20m x 60m arena—both expertly levelled and compacted to perfection.
